Milla Milla Falls
These are apparently the most photographed falls in Australia! Easy to get to, Milla Milla Falls are the last (or first) falls along the Waterfall Circuit in Northern Queensland. They fall into a large pool suitable and popular for swimming. They're not as busy as you might expect for popular waterfalls, probably because there are quite a distance off the Bruce Highway. The region the falls are located, the Artherton Tablelands, is one of the more under-rated parts of Queensland for scenery. The road travel is very slow, but it is an enjoyable excusion if you set aside some time. As you cross the Great Dividing Range, the climate changes from wet and tropical to very dry. The Tablelands have a much more balanced humidity with large green hills but equally large level sections that are exellent for farming.
