Love Locks on the Kurilpa
A number of love locks have been attached to the west side of the Kurilpa bridge, near Brisbane's Central Business District. At the entrace to the bridge is a plaque reading: "Kurilpa menas Kuril’s place in Turrubul / Dippil langues. Kuril dreaming is a love story about the Dilly Bag Girl who made dilly bags with the kangaroo marsupial rat as her token. Kuril was promised to man who was travelling to Kureel near Nabbour in a group. When he realized that Kuril was missing from the group, he travelled back to this place and found her." - Turrbal People
