Rhinosoceros

Deep in the Capricorn Caves lives Australia's only indigenous Rhino. It's an interesting tour through a long series of limestone caves - and that is just a small sample size. If you have a few extra days, you can book a guide to help you squeeze through tight holes to explore the cave system like its finder, John Olsen in 1882. The Capricorn caves are a few kilometers north of Rockhampton and the Tropic of Capricorn. They're near another set of caves in Mount Etna National Park, and these ones are more developed for guided tours with lighting and stairs at some entrances. I'm not sure if the caves in the park are open for visits. In one section of the tour, our guide turned turned out the lights one by one to show what complete darkness was like! There is even a wedding chapel if you'd like to get married deep in the caves.
