King Cascade
Taking photos in the middle of the day - from a boat - doesn't produce the best photos. But King Cascade on Prince Regent River is a worthy site. It's not really possible to take a photo of the Cascade from land on a tripod - the crocodiles are everywhere. I could have used a polarizer to improve the shot, but - oh well. The Cascade is named after Philip Parker King, who explored the nearby Prince Regent River in the 1820s. He named the river after the Prince Regent who would beome George IV. The cascade was named only recently - in the 1980s.
