Reflection in the Rail
7 and 8 of 115 Wooden Grain Elevators. A pair of re-furbished elevators at the St. Albert Grain Elevator Park northwest of Edmonton. These definately have a more polished look to them than the others I have seen. The park is a museum open from Victoria Day to Labour Day - a train station and the two elevators reside within the chainlink fences. The tracks are still in use as you can see from the reflection, though during my time near the park I did not see any trains. There is a sign near the Sturgeon River just south of the elevators talking about how when the rail line was built, it reduced the travel time between St. Albert and Edmonton to under an hour - from a day's trip.!
