Waterfall on Fiordo Ultima Esperanza

"Enter Torres del Paine by Boat." There is an excitement and uniqueness to the journey much like seeing London by the Thames or the North Saskatchewan by canoe. You leave Puerto Natales and journey through the Fiordo Ultima Esperanza by a large vessel, viewing waterfalls, sea lions, condors, and glaciers. Then a series of zodiacs up the Serano River through Bernardo O'Higgins National Park to Torres del Paine. If you can do it, go for it. Dispense with the tourist bus and gravel road!

The day we journeyed through the fjords and Serano River was not ideal. Clouds and rain throughout, but it was fun. The stop at Serano Glacier was a bit of a people-herd with a narrow trail and many people of varying ages and conditions. The zodiac transfers were a bit disorganized, but the gist is follow all the other people dressed in orange rain coats and you'll be fine!

This is one of several spectaular waterfalls we passed while travelling through the Fjords. I did not see a name on any of the maps. Quite nice greenery at the base of the falls and a bit of luck to get a tiny bit of blue sky in the background!
