Wrapping up June with a few days of rain. Today was the best day of the Canada Day weekend as the showers held off most of the day. It made for some interesting colour clouds during the sunset. Towards the west there were some interesting clouds, but towards the north, dark clouds were rolling in. I almost skipped the photo shoot thinking the backdrop of downtown would be grey clouds. It actually turned out pretty good. Very little exaggeration with the reds here! I took this photo from the Cloverbar foot bridge. It vibrates every time a bike crosses the bridge making it tough on long exposures. The bridge is subject to some controversey and disappointment - it will be coming down as part of the new LRT bridge across the North Saskatchewan. During construction, there will be no river crossing at this point, which is a very popular cycling and walking route.
