Pachena Bay - Start of the West Coast Trail
The evening tide is just going out at Pachena Bay. These rocks are part of the beach access to the north end of the West Coast Trail in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. At low tides, you can cross this beach section to cut a kilometer off the trail and avoid some high ladders. This photo is from the evening before the start of our six night, seven day trek down the West Coast Trail from Pachena Bay to Gordon River.
