Cable Car Over the Klanawa

Well this was exciting!

Klanawa is the first cable car crossing from the north on the West Coast Trail.

Put your backpack in one end of the car, hop in the other, and ride out to the middle of the river. Then pull yourself with the rope to the other platform. These cars say they can handle two passengers and two packs but unless you're both under 150 pounds with relatively small packs, I'm not sure it works well. Grown adults with camera gear and tripods need their own car!
