The Boardwalks
One feature of the West Coast Trail that I didn't get enough photos of were the boardwalks. They ranged from brand new installations from this year which made your kilometres easy to broken teeter-totters swallowed up in mud that were in the way as much as roots. If they were wet, they were slippery. If they were wet with a layer of moss growing on them, they were very slippery. This boardwalk is between Walbran and Logan Creeks and represents one of the better condition boardwalks you will see on the trail.
